Can't get home page to show for guests

I am currently building two forums, and I want them to basically show the forum on the homepage, but a guest can't click through until they register and subscribe. 

One site is thebarnauburn.com and it is functioning how I want it to. But the other is covercrimson.com and it just redirects to a login page when I go to the main domain. How can I get the Cover Crimson site to ultimately show the same thing (the forums, a sidebar, etc. but then when I click through it gives a "you don't have permission" page).
